Dressing well is first and foremost about protecting yourself well

At Manelli , we offer a wide range of clothing that is both stylish and safe. In fact, in certain sectors, a specific uniform is required to ensure employee safety.

Protect, the basic safety clothing

To protect effectively, certain requirements must be met: Indeed, whether it be constraints for users (discomfort, irritation, size, heat or adjustment…) or coming from the surrounding environment (temperature, humidity, position and gestures of the worker or additional equipment to have…), these requirements to be met for the comfort of all require a certain rigor, which must be respected.
That is why, when creating a product, it must go through different tests adapted to each branch of work, in order to create a perfectly adapted product, both in terms of ergonomics and to mitigate the risks that exist on a daily basis in each branch of work.

Men well protected

When a product is designed, it is put in competition with many others; these products are distinguished from each other by their aesthetic characteristics (color, cut, models, materials used but also the type of protection used) but also technical characteristics and must therefore meet certain standards (often adapted on a European scale) in order to verify the quality of the product in general but also according to the type of application carried out.
This is why professional clothing can be classified into eight (8) main categories, which are as follows:

– Signage,

– Protection against:

o Bad weather

o The heat

o Mechanical risks

Chemical risks

o Infectious agents

o Electrostatic risks

o Radioactive contamination

Even though these garments serve different purposes, they are most often made from the same materials. Among the most common are textiles, leather, and also polymer materials (such as PVC, which is a flexible, lightweight, or insulating material).
Often, protection results from an assembly of several layers of materials, for example, a layer of textile superimposed on a waterproof layer (such as a membrane) or an additional finishing layer. This is done to ensure and provide effective protection for the worker.

Shoes to protect the feet

Also, some garments may have a limited lifespan depending on their intended use. For example, medical clothing may not be decontaminated in certain departments or may simply become unusable after a certain period of use. This type of clothing is designed to protect against viruses and bacteria by preventing them from reaching the skin.

Ultimately, these work clothes, whatever their purpose (protection, creating a uniform, etc.), end up representing a brand. This brand, in addition to protecting its employees (if necessary), uses clothing in its colors to assert its identity and foster a sense of belonging within the company. This leads employees to feel invested in the brand, which is investing in them. The employee may then be motivated to repay the trust placed in them.

Corporate clothing has thus become an indispensable tool on a daily basis, because through its possibilities as a uniform, protection but also as a means of employee recognition, it is a major asset for every company in its quest for sustainability.
