Care instructions for your work clothes
Cleaning
Before washing, read and follow the instructions for the symbols (pictograms) on your clothing label (see pictograms above).
Separate light-colored clothes from dark-colored clothes.
Close the zippers and buttonholes on your work clothes to reduce abrasion and preserve their condition.
Wash your clothes inside out to preserve their patterns and colors.
Wash clothes frequently to prevent stains from setting in.
In case of heavy soiling, wash your work clothes separately from the rest of your laundry.
Respect the washing temperatures to preserve the colors and durability of your clothes.
Choose a laundry detergent that complies with the instructions on bleaching (note that for colored items, for example, it is very often recommended not to use detergents and laundry detergents containing bleaching agents or chlorine).
Drying
After wringing, take out and shake the work clothes, stretch them out and hang them up directly.
Always prefer natural drying on a clothesline, rather than a tumble dryer (risk of shrinkage, rubbing, etc.)
Ironing
Always iron slightly damp clothes to make ironing easier.
Iron your items inside out to preserve the colours and avoid a "shiny" effect.
Avoid ironing buttons, snap fasteners, and elastic. Ironing could damage them.

FAQ
How do you choose between several sizes when your measurements are on the borderline?
When your measurements fall between two sizes, it's recommended to prioritize comfort and freedom of movement. For workwear worn for extended periods, it's best to choose the slightly larger size to avoid any discomfort. Manelli workwear sizes are designed to fit the body shape of professionals: please consult our size guide to find the best fit for you.
What are some tips for prolonging the fitted look of your work clothes?
Well-maintained workwear retains its fit and comfort for longer. To preserve the tailored look of a jacket or trousers, it's essential to follow the washing instructions, avoid overloading the machine, and opt for air drying. Also, avoid excessively hot ironing, which can damage technical fibers. By following these tips, your work clothes will maintain their impeccable appearance for longer.
How to anticipate the shrinkage or elasticity of technical textiles after washing?
Some fabrics used in workwear can shrink or stretch slightly over time. To minimize this, always wash your garments at low temperatures and follow the care instructions on the label. Modern materials, such as cotton-polyester blends, are specifically designed to reduce these variations. If you are between sizes, choose the larger size to maintain freedom of movement, even after several washes.
