The Chocolate Fair in Paris

November is a month not to be missed for chocolate lovers.

Indeed, for the lucky ones among you living in the Paris region, the Salon du Chocolat is a must-see culinary event. It will take place from October 31st to November 4th at the Porte de Versailles.

This trade fair, where a huge number of exhibitors gather, offers the opportunity to discover new products and new chocolate brands. It's also possible to meet renowned professional chocolatiers and even sample some chocolate squares.

Cream puffs, éclairs, cakes, sweets, and other culinary delights are on the menu. There will also be competitions and a fashion show where a jury of professionals will choose the most beautiful chocolate-based clothing creation!

A true feat of inventiveness, the participants compete to create ever more incredible designs. These genuine works of art will then be worn in fashion shows by influential figures.

The Salon du Chocolat allows you to taste chocolates from all over the world. It is also possible to discover new, previously unimaginable flavors.

If you wish to equip yourself for your next chocolate creations, this show will allow you to equip yourself with all kinds of accessories related to the culinary work of chocolate , or even related to its tasting, such as hot chocolate fountains.

Finally, a real 18m² house made entirely of chocolate will be exhibited at this 2018 edition in Paris.

Made with no less than one and a half tons of the precious ingredient, this work, which required 4 months of work, will not go unnoticed and will make an impact on visitors.

As you might have guessed, this fair is primarily aimed at chocolate lovers, but also at anyone wanting to make new discoveries. Everything related to chocolate, directly or indirectly, is on display at this fair, whose reputation has been well established for 23 years.

The Cap3000 Showcase

For us people from Nice, we also have our own chocolate event!

Starting October 27th, the 2nd edition of SHOWCOLAT will be held at Cap3000 . The greatest pastry chefs and chocolatiers are invited for exceptional shows.

Every day, enjoy cooking demonstrations, tastings, and workshops for adults and children, all free of charge! Chef Cyril Lignac will also be present at the event!

Just like at the Paris show, you can attend a grand parade of sumptuous people in chocolate outfits designed by chefs!

For the program of events you will find:

– Live cooking demonstrations and tastings every day from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm : the region's most talented pastry chefs will create desserts live, followed by a free tasting.

– Workshops for adults and children are held daily in the central square and on the 1st floor : hands-on activities for adults and learning for children; tips and secrets will be revealed to help you create delicious recipes.

– Exhibitions every day in the central square and at the Cannes gate : all the amazing creations in design, fashion and chocolate made by the chefs

– Meet Cyril Lignac in the central square on November 2nd : at 2pm, he will be there to share his tips and tricks live, and at 3:30pm, meet and sign copies of his book "La Pâtisserie"

– The SHOWCOLAT fashion show on Saturday, November 3rd at 3:30 pm in the central square : chefs will present their personal take on the new architecture of Cap3000 with an exclusive and delicious show

– The competition : participate for a chance to win exclusive prizes!
