Made in blue by Robur: what is it?
Robur's Made in Blue range reminds us that everyone can take action to protect nature, and in this case, the ocean. By offering products from the Seaqual Initiative range, Robur promotes green-friendly production and eco-responsible consumption by professionals wearing the models offered.
Thus, the Made in Blue range is created from recycled bottles, directly fished from the oceans. Indeed, transformed into textile fibers, they give rise to high-quality and responsible fabrics.
Discover the Seaqual range
The positive impact of Seaqual compared to standard cotton
It's worth remembering that the textile industry is one of the most polluting sectors, due to the resources required, production methods, and the fast-fashion consumption of society. Seaqual reduces the toxicity impact on ecosystems of conventional cotton by 97.4%. The water required for Seaqual products is also reduced by 69.2%, ultimately saving 3,580 liters of water.
Textiles are polluting: the release of chemicals into the water reduces oxygen levels and increases ambient temperature. Seaqual clothing releases 39.45% less phosphate into the water compared to a conventional garment.
Here's how many bottles are recycled for each model
On www.manelli.fr, we have displayed the number of recycled bottles for each item in the Seaqual range, a reminder of the importance of responsible purchasing.
The DUNES long-sleeved chef's jacket = 11 bottles
The DUNES short-sleeved chef's jacket = 9 bottles
The ESCALE short-sleeved chef's jacket = 9 bottles
The DETROIT chef's pants = 11 bottles
The DAX apron = 8 bottles
The DORIE cap = 1 bottle
A figure you wouldn't guess with the naked eye, and yet! The Seaqual range combines the trend of ocean blue and black. An elegant range, packaged in recycled packaging, reminding you that you've made an informed choice.
Manelli received the Robur representative for the Southeast sector at his premises
Manelli is particularly committed to responsible initiatives in design. Having already created our own EcoGreen range , we naturally welcomed the Made in Blue range into our product catalog. This range reflects our own commitments and reinforces the need for more responsible consumption.
This is how Manelli had the pleasure of welcoming Romain Pfeffer, head of the Southeast sector of Robur, to its premises in Nice.
Drawing on his extensive experience at Robur, he revealed all the secrets of the Made in Blue range during an interview.
